Thank you to Everyone who Dressed up and joined in on the May the Fourth Star Wars Trivia – an absolute hoot! Our Own Lucy took out most creative with her take on R2D2 and Storm Trooper Tayhlor took out next place.
Toowoomba Independant Craft Beer Festival was another excellent event and the two NEW beers we launched at the Festival and the Brewery were extremely well received. Come and check them out – Longboard Lager and Chai Porter (tasting notes below)

His hand-cut and seasoned Calamari teamed with homemade Tzatziki, beats anything else…
Friday 16th we are celebrating the return of an awesome chef – Adam Lugg of Food Boss Catering. Adam used to be a regular here before setting up his own restaurant – now he is taking to the road again with a terrific menu
Saturday 24th May Carlo and Agata of Dough’s Guys Pizza are here throwing the dough and stretching pizzas for lunch and dinner

Sunday 25th May = PARTY TIME – it is our birthday! The Brewery is eight years old this month and we are celebrating with an afternoon of Music, Dance and Greek Food on Sunday 25 May from 3pm. and of course there will be lots of prizes and giveaways (my favourite part….)

NEW BEERS:
Chai Porter – Porter / 4.4% ABV /27 IBU est. Take a classic English Porter recipe, add some lactose for residual sweetness and creamy mouthfeel, and Chai spice powder from Sunshine Coast Roastery, and you have a beer version of a Chai Latte. This came about after enjoying a dirty chai coffee from Jaz at Shark Bait Coffee – next thing we were mixing chai powder with the oatmeal stout and the idea of a new recipe was born
Longboard Lager – Lager / 4.4% ABV /14 IBU est. An easy malty lager – lots of body and flavour to make it very sessionable
