KVEIK OR THE DEAD HAZY IPA

NEW ENGLAND HAZY IPA

Ok, it’s official – the brewer has gone crazy! No bittering hops and a 3-hour whirlpool???? And then that crazy Norwegian Kveik (Quick) yeast and MORE HOPS. The result is an incredibly juicy, hazy NEIPA; full of flavour and taste …. well it tastes like full crushed pineapple

 

ISLAY TEA

UK STYLE BROWN ALE

4.7% ABV /22 IBU

Reflects all the characteristics of the Manuka Smoked Malt, which forms the base of this beer and lends to the aroma and flavour reminiscent of a fine Islay Whisky. Islay (pronounced Eye-la) is in the south of Scotland and is home of the famous peat smoky whiskies such as Laphroaig.  Silver Medal Winner – Royal Qld Beer Awards 2020  Bronze medal winner – Royal Qld Beer Awards 2022

 

ENDLESS DAZE

HAZY XPA

3.6% ABV /18 IBU

This is Emilee’s second commercial brew. designed to be a full-flavoured Hazy XPA but only mid-strength alcohol. Emilee conducted a rub-&-sniff test with different ratios of Eclipse and Simcoe hops to get public opinion on the ratio mix, and then made use of the new Gladfields malt – “Big O” Oats. The result is a very nicely balanced XPA – lots of flavour, aroma and good body.  Silver Medal – Royal Qld Beer Awards 2022

HOP THERAPY SERIES VI

PALE INDIA ALE

5.2 % ABV / 28 IBU

This Version of the Pale India Ale features Mosaic as the Aroma hop.  This is the final in the Series . Silver Medal – Royal Qld Beer Awards 2022, Bronze Medal Australian IBA Awards 2021, Bronze Medal – Royal Qld Beer Awards 2021 and Bronze Medal – Royal Qld Beer Awards 2019

Soured with Lallemand’s Philly Sour yeast, we have added Blueberries, Cranberries and Red Currants in the mix to extend the character of this sour

A rich red ale with aromas of chocolate cola, rich berry and stone fruits with a dry finish. Reasonable level of bitterness

SECRET SEVEN XPA

EXTRA PALE ALE

4.3% ABV / 26 IBU 

A fruity XPA using Seven different hops and Lallemand’s Voss Kveik Ale Yeast – a very quick, clean yeast from Norway which operates best at higher temperatures and allows us to finish this beer in ONE WEEK! The finished product is crisp and fresh. Bronze medal winner Royal Qld Beer Awards 2020

BENNY'S NUTTY BROWN

AMERICAN BROWN ALE

4.6% ABV /22 IBU 

This nutty brown ale owes it’s existence to local avid homebrewer, Benny.  We upscaled his recipe and Benny joined us to brew a big batch. The result is a delicious ale with forward fruit character of Mosaic, Amarillo & Lemondrop hops and a dry hazelnut finish from the very distinctive “Go Nutty” malted oats.

RED VELVET PORTER

CHOCOLATE & RASPBERRY PORTER

5.2% ABV /26 IBU 

Described as “cake in a glass”, this Porter is big on flavour – loaded with raspberries and organic cacao nibs, with a creamy mouthfeel. Early on you get the aroma and taste of raspberries followed by the rich dark chocolate  from the cacao. Perfect for  a dessert sweet fix!
